Still, it's much easier to mistake him for a spoiled noble than a professional criminal. He's an attractive young man with an extremely well-groomed appearance and he can be recognized easily by his very, very pointy sideburns. • TIMELINE Balthier was taken one year after the final battle with Vayne and the crash of the Bahamut, right after the epilogue. Balthier and Fran had been missing in action for the past year without any contact whatsoever with their traveling companions, but they had just broken their silence with a quick note and exchange of Princess Ashelia's wedding ring for his ship.
